The image of Frida Kahlo in a formal gown, surrounded by flowers and sitting with her eyes closed, evokes a sense of peace and introspection. The artist’s signature self-portraits often explore complex emotions and personal struggles, and this serene portrayal suggests a moment of calm contemplation amidst the chaos of her life. The flowers symbolize growth, beauty, and resilience, serving as a vibrant backdrop to her inner thoughts and emotions. CLICK IMAGES FOR DETAILED VIWES
Frida - Reimagined Series
Frida Kahlo Inspired Artworks
This is my new fun and creative project! Reimagining Frida Kahlo as if she were still living in modern times is a great way to pay homage to her legacy and artistic spirit. A way to keep her a live. The idea of depicting her in everyday scenarios, doing ordinary activities, things she may or may not have done if she were with us today. This is my way to humanize her and make her more relatable to contemporary audiences. These painting stories are realized completely from my overactive imagination and not necessarily true.
